A new-wave café bringing specialty coffee culture, French-style pastries, and artisan gelato to Watamu. Isla is the kind of place that didn't exist on the Kenyan coast five years ago — a thoughtfully curated space where the espresso is properly dialled in, the croissants are flaky, and the vibe is effortlessly cool. What to Order

Start with the Italian coffee — properly extracted, not over-roasted, with milk alternatives available. The French pastry selection includes croissants, pain au chocolat, and seasonal specials. The brunch menu covers both sweet and savoury, making it a genuine morning-to-afternoon destination. The artisanal gelato is a newer addition and gives Non Solo Gelato some friendly competition.
